I have been remiss about posting. My fault! I will try to post twice per week going forward.
Several members of the community have asked “Just what does the ward committee do?” Good question! We attempt to do three things:
- Increase turnout among registered Democrats in Philadelphia’s Ward 55.
- Increase the number of registered Democrats in Philadelphia’s Ward 55.
- Increase both the quantity and quality of government services (city, state, and federal) to ward 55.
Basically, we are the Democratic party organization here in this corner of Philadelphia.

In the coming weeks, we will begin canvassing in the ward. It is our intent to make contact with every active Democrat in every division in the ward before election day. We will do this twice per year. Additionally, we will carry petitions for Democratic candidates whose values match our own.
